Sweden: Activity in Stockholm to Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Dafa

On October 18th, Falun Gong practitioners from across Sweden participated in activities held at Coin Square in Stockholm. They expressed their support for the 44 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and raised awareness about the CCP’s crime of organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners. The activities received support from the Swedish people as well as tourists from various countries, many of whom expressed thanks to the Falun Gong practitioners and encourage them to keep on.

The Autumn climate in Stockholm was pleasant and the whole city was spectacularly decorated with both the red and yellow tree leaves against the blue sky. Groups of people came to the famous scenic spots in Sweden to see the Ceremony of Changing the Guard at the Royal Palace. Coin Square is the only way to the Royal Palace. When people passed by, many of them were attracted by the display panels with banners and pictures.

Middle-aged couples from the UK travelling in Sweden were carefully reading the display panels disclosing the persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP. Having finished reading them, a man, pointing at materials about “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party”, told a Falun Gong practitioner, “I have read the book ‘Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party' in the UK. I believe that the CCP will fall sooner or later.”

Two university students from France came forward and had a chat in English with Xiao Liu, a post-graduate and a Falun Gong practitioner. They said that they felt shocked after reading the display panels. One of them asked for a set of materials in Chinese for her Chinese class mates. At the same time, she left her email address to Xiao Liu hoping to hear more information. She added that from today on, she would be more concerned about the human rights situation in China.

A Chinese university student from Spain just 20 years old. It is because that he is just abroad that he feels so fresh and curious about life here. Poisoned by the CCP culture, he could not understand why Falun Gong practitioners were clarifying the truth here. Together with her husband, Ms, Zhang told him in detail about how Falun Gong is being persecuted by the CCP in China by using her own personal experience. In particular, she told him that the CCP concocted the “Tiananmen Self-immolation” incident in order to frame Falun Gong and how cruelly the CCP persecutes Falun Gong by removing organs from live Falun Gong practitioners for sale. Before the facts, this young student kept nodding and said, “I have heard a little about it before and also received emails clarifying this but I felt very disgusted about it at that time. Now I have understood.” Finally, he said that he would be abroad studying for six months and would like to know more things outside China by valuing this period of time so that he could make his own choice.

On the same day, many Chinese tourists came and watched the Royal Changing of the Guards. Many of them were all pleased to accept the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” and Falun Gong leaflets distributed by Falun Gong practitioners, but some people even did not dare to accept the newspaper “Epoch Times”. Just at this moment, a tourist guide spoke loudly, with a newspaper in her hand, “What do you fear about when you are reading this newspaper? You should have nothing to worry about! People here all read this newspaper.” Among them, three young people from Beijing each accepted a set of Chinese newspapers and materials about Falun Gong. Feeling delighted, they said, “We should read this carefully! Thank you very much!”
