Australia: Learning Falun Gong at the Earth Festival in Centennial Park, Sydney

On November 29th, Falun Gong practitioners from Sydney participated in the Earth Festival at Centennial Park. Many people learned the Falun Gong exercises at the practitioners' booth, and a lot of people learned about the persecution and signed their names to support the practitioners' efforts.

Practitioners set up their booth early in the morning and took it down at 11:00 p.m. that night. Some of them passed out informational materials and others taught people the exercises.

A practitioner said that some of the tourists had never heard about Falun Gong, but when they saw the peaceful exercises, they wanted to learn. People were shocked when they learned about the persecution and organ harvesting, and many signed petitions to support the Falun Gong practitioners.

Sophie, who has practised Falun Gong for 10 years, said: "I taught seven groups today, and dozens of people learned the exercises. An elderly couple said that they felt a strong energy field." "I was touched that so many people came to learn the exercises," said Sophie.

Practitioners also promoted Divine Performing Arts. They dressed in traditional Chinese costumes, which drew many people's attention. Dozens of people left their contact information for booking tickets. One lady said that she didn't have the chance to watch the show last year, so she asked practitioners to inform her this year when the ticket go on sale.
