We Must Truly Understand Dafa's Magnificence and Standards

A while ago, a practitioner named Daqiang (alias) in my city was arrested while distributing truth-clarification materials that explained the illegal persecution of Falun Gong. After holding him in a detention centre for 15 days, the police decided to transfer him to the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp. During the 3-4 hours' trip to the labour camp Daqiang kept shouting, "Falun Dafa is Good." Once at the labour camp he was compelled to undergo a medical examination. He told the labour camp doctor, "Falun Dafa is Good." The doctor said he knew this phrase already, as there were practitioners at the camp shouting daily shouting, "Falun Dafa is Good." The examination results showed Daqiang unfit for detention; however, the police still attempted to find ways to have him admitted. Daqiang continued to shout, "Falun Dafa is Good." The more he shouted, the more compassion he had. Tears ran down his face. One policeman said, "Good job shouting! Your Master really saved you!" The camp officials firmly refused to accept Daqiang, despite the police plot to keep have him admitted.

On the way back Daqiang still kept shouting, "Falun Dafa is Good." When the police car was about to reach his home a policeman stopped him, saying, "Tell us exactly what the Tiananmen Self-immolation incident was really about. Why do you oppose the Chinese Communist Party? Do you hate us because we beat you?" Daqiang clarified the truth to them and convinced them all. Daqiang spoke for over seven hours during the round-trip and negated the evil elements behind the persecution with his righteous thoughts.

In 2008 alone, more than ten practitioners in our area were arrested and sentenced. Only a few were able to break out of detention with righteous thoughts. Many practitioners wavered in their faith in Dafa after seeing so many incidents of persecution.

In my view, only when we meet the standards set by the Fa can the power of the Fa manifest itself to us. That is why some practitioners were able to get out of detention while others weren't. I advise everyone not to let other practitioners' incidents of persecution move them.

Another incident in our area was this: Five practitioners riding in a car to the countryside to distribute truth-clarification materials were arrested. Their varied xinxing (heart and mind nature) levels led to different outcomes.

Xiaofeng was the driver. He refused to acknowledge to the arresting officers that he was a practitioner and said the other four people had hired him to drive the car. He was beaten the most severely.

At the request of the police, Erping, Laowang and Laoli revealed their names. The police also retrieved their IDs from Laowang and Laoli's pockets. Daping refused to give her name and instead clarified the truth to the police. On the way to the detention centre, the several practitioners sent righteous thoughts to have the police van break down so they could escape. The van actually broke down, but they were unable to get away. They kept sending righteous thoughts, this time to have the detention centre refuse to accept them. The detention centre officials indeed refused to accept them. The police had no recourse but to drive them back to the police station.

The practitioners sent righteous thoughts again, to have the police stop to get something to eat. They actually stopped the van, leaving only one behind to keep an eye on the practitioners. Daping said she would run first and urged others to follow. She dashed out of the van and ran away quickly. The only policeman left chased her like crazy. He gradually caught up with her and eventually knocked her down. During her struggle Daping kicked the policeman and then she disappeared. The policeman seemed quite hurt and looked confused. He even went back to the van to see if Daqing had returned to the van when Daping in reality had already gotten up and caught a taxi to go home. Seeing the four remaining practitioners sitting in the van the policeman realized Daping was already gone. He remembered to find his buddies at the restaurant.

The four other practitioners did not even dare to run away, despite the fact no one was watching them! The captors took all of them to the police station. Xiaofeng and Erping were beaten. The police spared Laowang and Laoli because of their advanced ages.

While seven officers were beating Erping, her righteous thoughts suddenly came forth, and she shouted loudly, "Master, please help me!" The police were stunned asking, "Where is your Master?" They stopped their beating immediately. Because she was able to think of Master, Erping was able to lessen the persecution against her.

Xiaofeng was beaten the most because he did not consider himself a practitioner. In the end he was held in a detention centre for one month and ordered to pay over 10,000 yuan. He was released only after he wrote a statement promising to stop cultivation. Laowang and Laoli also wrote similar statements. They each paid 2,000 yuan before their release. Erping refuse to write such statement. She was ordered to pay 2,000 yuan before she was released.

These incidents truly made me aware of the profound meaning of Master's Fa.

If we can maintain righteous thoughts and deeds and meet the requirements of the Fa, we will see the miraculous power of the Fa. At the same time, I want to tell those practitioners who are still pondering what they should do: we must firmly believe in Master and Dafa and not be confused by the persecution. On the last leg of the journey, we must cherish Dafa and make good use of time to offer people salvation.
