Taiwan: International Art Exhibition Purifies People's Hearts

The Truth, Compassion, Forbearance International Art Exhibition at the Taichung County Culture Centre opened on March 13th, 2009 and will close on April 5th, 2009. The oil paintings, water colours and water-ink paintings exhibited were from 15 artists who are overseas Chinese, Taiwanese and Canadian.

The visitors to the exhibition included people of all ages and all walks life. Ms. Chen Huijie saw the exhibition and said she wanted to buy a book of the paintings. Shiao is a young woman in high school. Her parents are doing business in China so she had been in mainland China for two years. Having her own experiences of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brainwashing and propaganda, she said, "The CCP on the other side of the strait is so inhuman. Live organ harvesting, such an inhuman thing should never exist in this world. We must let the people on the other side (of the Taiwan strait) know the truth."

One senior citizen said, "Visiting the exhibition purified my various notions. It is like a path to heaven. The guide explained the paintings in details and I truly learned a lot from them." Another middle-aged man expressed his appreciation to the volunteers, "Please host more exhibitions like this. It can make people's hearts calm and peaceful, and purify the world."

Many visitors also suggested that the exhibition tour more places in Taiwan.
