One's Worldly Notions and Saving Sentient Beings Through Self-Cultivation

I would like to tell about an incident that I experienced while saving sentient beings. This incident impressed me very much and made me feel that Master is always with us.

One day I ran into someone who was my neighbour when I was young. We were truly happy to see each other, but I also felt uneasy, because I had been sent to a forced labour camp for three years and was under pressure financially. I felt that Master had arranged for him to run into me, but I was concerned that he might look down on me because of my current social status.

When we were about to part, I felt very bad and thought to myself, "Master is watching you now. If you do not tell him to withdrawing from the Communist Party (and/or its two youth organizations) he may lose his only opportunity. Are you willing to see him die?"

A short while after we parted, I calmed down and a thought came to my mind, "I do not care about worldly fame or money. I just want to save him."

I turned back and followed after him, but I could not see him because there were so many people on the street. After about ten minutes, I suddenly saw him in front of a shopping centre. I was really happy and thankful to Master for giving me another opportunity. I told him right away about the need to withdraw from the CCP (Chinese communist party). He understood what I said and was happy to do it.

Now I have a deeper understanding of what is meant by "Cultivation depends on one's own efforts, while the transformation of gong is done by one's master. It is good enough if you have this wish. It is the master who actually does this, as you are simply unable to do it." in Zhuan Falun.
