On Saturday 4th July in Brezno (middle Slovakia), Falun Gong practitioners held an information day to let people know the latest news about the ongoing persecution of Falun gong in China by the Chinese Communist Party. Petition signatures were collected from local people who wanted to call for an immediate end to the human rights abuses against China's Falun Gong practitioners, which include the harvesting of their organs for profit.
People stopped to read the information on the display stands and find out more; some showed interest in learning the Falun Gong exercises. One elderly lady said, "This exercise looks very healthy, I need to try it. I can see it is used for relieving stress.“ Many people expressed their support for Falun Gong practitioners' efforts to stop the human rights abuses in China.
