Encouragement and Support From Icelandic Public

Dear Friends and supporters of Falun Gong,

I'am 33 yrs old Icelandic male, living in Reykjavík, Iceland.

I would like to congratulate your organisation for your effort in the fight for more human rights to all! I think it's a discrace that supporters and members of your organisations are not allowed into Iceland by our government
officials to demonstrate and urging president Jiang Zemin to end the persecution of Falun Gong practitioner in China.

Only recently have I been following news regarding your very needed organisation. I have been introduced to Falun Gong or Falun Dafa via the internet and the news and I have learned about the unfairness Falun Gong supporters meet in China and been with you in my heart and mind.

I can proudly say that I just read today in Iceland largest newspaper "Morgunblaðið" that our former Minister of education, Mr. Björn Bjarnason has critisized (on his homepage) Icelandic government officials for not
allowing Falun Gong supporters to visit Iceland during president Jiang Zemin visit. It is my belief that the majority of icelanders are in support of letting Falun Gong members into the country and pursue your protest campaign.

And I agree, by blocking off Falun Gong practitioners from visiting Iceland the government is showing a support for the persecution. It is such a shame when a peaceloving country like Iceland takes a stand against freedom and
peace, with an "evil empire" like China with its policing system and its system of repression.

I will most deffinetly do my best to let more people and our government officials know of the situation.
