At noontime on October 15th, the Taiwan Supreme Court's Falun Gong Club held its first-ever group practise. Led by Mrs. Zhuang, court employees learned the exercises with great interest and joy. Mrs. Zhuang said that the club was formed to provide court employees with another choice for stress relief and cultivation of mind and body.
Ms. Liu has been practising Falun Gong for almost six years. Back when she first started, she was accompanying a colleague to look for ways to regain good health. One day, they tried the Falun Gong exercises. Amazingly, the back pain that had tormented her for many years soon disappeared. In addition, her bad habit of losing her temper with her children due to her poor health disappeared, too. Her family life became very harmonious and now her whole family practises Falun Gong. "True health is priceless and it something money cannot buy," said Ms. Liu.
Court staff member Ms. Zhuang has been practicing Falun Gong with her parents for several years. She had scoliosis and always had a sallow face because of related blood flow problems. However, through practicing Falun Gong, her face gradually became rosier and her back straightened. Upon seeing the changes in her, some of Ms. Zhuang's colleagues also expressed the wish to learn Falun Gong.
One day, Ms. Zhuang and Ms. Liu had a discussion and agreed that a Falun Gong club should be established to make the practice of Falun Gong available to their Supreme Court colleagues. This idea received great support from their colleagues, and their application to establish a new club was soon approved.
Mr. Chen, director of Human Resources, fully agrees with Falun Gong's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He personally witnessed how Falun Gong changed a relative from a rude person to a thoughtful and polite person. He was amazed by Falun Gong's effectiveness in uplifting people's morality.
Prior to the establishment of the Falun Gong Club in the Supreme Court, Falun Gong clubs have been formed in many other government agencies, including the Trade Bureau of the Commerce Ministry and the Keelung Police Department.
