Also on the evening of December 31st, Falun Gong practitioners in Kumamoto protested the CCP's persecution in front of the Chinese Consulate in Nagasaki.
They arrived at 4:30 p.m., held banners and set up posters across from the consulate to protest the persecution. They held a candlelight vigil to commemorate those practitioners who were tortured to death in the persecution.
It snowed for the first time this winter. However, despite the snow and cold wind, practitioners young and old stayed until the end of the event.
An elderly lady who lived nearby came to learn about the event despite the snow. She said emotionally, "On such a cold day, you hold a protest. You are great! Keep doing a good job!"
