Falun Gong practitioners in Jakarta and the surrounding area recently held activities to introduce Falun Gong in front of the Bundaran Hotel Indonesia in downtown Jakarta.

Falun Gong practitioners unfolded flags and banners stating "Falun Dafa Is Great" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." Dressed in golden costumes, a Falun Gong practitioners' drum troupe performed a waist drum dance and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. The two-hour activity attracted many people, including news reporters. About 1500 introduction brochures were distributed.
The police officers on-site expressed sympathy for the Falun Gong practitioners, who are persecuted in China. They said this peaceful activity was a good example for other organizations to follow.
