On May 9th, 2010, Falun Gong practitioners from all of Japan held a parade in Tokyo, celebrating the eleventh World Falun Dafa Day.
The parade started at 1:30 in the afternoon. Practitioners held a variety of banners, telling people that Falun Gong is now practiced all around the world.
Practitioners passed out many truth-clarifying materials. The citizens and tourists liked the parade, and some had already heard about the persecution. Some were also interested in learning the exercises. Many said that they supported the peaceful resistance to persecution. Mr. Fang, a student from Beijing, said, "I've never seen a Falun Gong parade before. It would be impossible in Beijing. There is no freedom of speech in China. I like being here. In Beijing, you can't talk about anything. All you hear is the Communist Party's propaganda. I don't believe anything they say."
