It has been learned that Jiang will go to Hong Kong on July 1st to attend the celebration of the fifth anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China. Because of "heightened security reasons," Jiang has just changed his plans and will stay in Hong Kong for only 20 hours. After attending the "July 1st" flag-raising ceremony and the inauguration ceremony of Hong Kong Executive Tung Chee-Hwa's second term in office. Jiang will immediately leave Hong Kong after these ceremonies on the same afternoon.

In order to hold peaceful protests and participate in Dafa [principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance] activities during Jiang's stay in Hong Kong, Falun Gong practitioners in Macau decided to go to Hong Kong.

On June 25, a female practitioner was forbidden to enter Hong Kong. Yesterday, on June 26, a male practitioner was again refused entry at the Zhonggangcheng Customs Dock. The customs officials asked the practitioners about their intention for going to Hong Kong. The practitioners answered, "We are Falun Gong practitioners. We came to peacefully appeal during Jiang's stay in Hong Kong and at the same time let the world's people know that Falun Dafa is good. Jiang's persecution of Falun Gong is wrong and it should be immediately stopped and corrected. [The Chinese government should] restore Falun Dafa's reputation and the reputation of the founder of Falun Gong, release all Falun Gong practitioners who have been illegally sentenced to jail or sent to forced labour camps and jails. Restore Falun Gong's legal status." At the same time the practitioners also told the officials about the heavenly principle that goodness is rewarded and evildoing is punished.

The customs officials refused entry by Falun Gong practitioners into Hong Kong with unreasonable excuses and forcibly deported the practitioners back to Macau by boat.
