United States: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Independence Day Parade in Carmel, Indiana

Falun Gong practitioners recently participated in the Independence Day Parade in Carmel, Indiana. A variety of activities have been held in Carmel on Independence Day in the past thirty years. This was the seventh year that Falun Gong practitioners have participated in the parade in celebration of freedom.

Despite the hot weather, the parade, with close to one hundred participating groups, attracted thousands of people. The colorful Falun Gong procession delighted the spectators, who cheered and applauded.

The celestial maidens on the float demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, and many spectators copied their movements. Some pressed their hands together in front of their chests and bowed in respect.
