In the small region of Maresme, situated in the province of Barcelona, Falun Dafa practitioners took advantage of the good weather to promote the practice and let people know about the human rights abuses happening to practitioners in China.

Practitioners were asked on several occasions to take part in spiritual and qigong fairs to let more people know about practising Falun Gong. They set up a stand with information people could pick up for free and handed our beautiful hand made paper lotus flowers

Activities took place on 14 and 15 of August in the coastal locality of Sant Pol de Mar (Barcelona) and another two on 4 and 5 of September in the city of Ripoll (Girona). In these activities practitioners told local people about Falun Gong and the persecution that practitioners are suffering in mainland China at the hands of the Chinese Communist Party. Signatures were collected on a petition calling for an end to these human rights abuses.
