Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the annual Lichan Culture Festival of Iijima-Machi, in Nagano Province, Japan on the weekend of October 30th-31st, 2010. During the two-day event, the practitioners displayed printed materials introducing the Falun Gong exercises, and picture displays which described Falun Dafa being practiced freely in many countries around the world. There were also truth-clarification materials about Falun Dafa and the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong in China. The practitioners also demonstrated the five sets of exercises on the stage during the second day.

The two day culture festival attracted many pre-destined people. On the second day, a lady in her fifties enthusiastically joined the exercise teaching class after watching the practitioners demonstrate. She asked about the regular exercise place and was happy to know there was a weekly exercise class in the Iichan Culture Hall.
