The next day, a prosecutor with the Warsaw Procuratorate had an urgent meeting with Falun Gong practitioner representatives to get more information. The practitioners gave details about the CCP's brutal persecution over the past eleven years and Jia Qinglin's participation when he was Mayor of Beijing from 1999 to 2002.
Jia Qinglin is one of the 11 officials in the CCP central committee who actively participates in and promotes the persecution of Falun Gong. The World Organisation to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) has also investigated him. He is also one of the five main culprits being sued in the Spainish Court for crimes of genocide and torture.
During the following days, Falun Gong practitioners held banners worded "Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong" at every exit of the parliament building, which caught the attention of major media outlets.
