Falun Gong practitioners in Western Australia participated in the Hyde Park Community Fair from March 6th to 7th, 2011. Crowds of people went to this popular annual community activity. Many of them showed great interest in Falun Gong.

The activity started with Falun Gong practitioners' dragon dance and fan dance right after speeches by VIPs. The energetic golden dragon joyfully played around the spectators to the music of “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Celebration.” The audience also loved the fan dance and rewarded them with warm applause. The host thanked Falun Gong practitioners for kicking off the fair with their wonderful performance.
Eight practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises the next day and received warm feedback. Thousands of people learned about the practice. Many were fascinated by the exercise demo and happily took introduction brochures. Many also signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Some expressed a wish to learn Falun Gong.
