My aunt told me of an incident a few days ago when I went to their home for a visit. The story of the incident moved me and I feel the obvious changes in people's attitude toward Falun Dafa. A husband and wife in their village are both Dafa practitioners. One day the wife went out to distribute Falun Dafa flyers and the police abducted her. The police then searched their home later and hit the husband's head until it started bleeding. A few days later, the police went to abduct the husband. When the police found him he was working in his shed. The police beat him there and started to take him away. People working nearby heard the commotion, and they came by, one after another, to reason with the police. The villagers argued with the police. Some said: "If there is anything wrong you can talk about it peacefully. Why do you beat people?" One fellow villager went up and removed the police officer's hand from the practitioner. The practitioner took the opportunity and walked away. The four or five policemen seemed to be stunned and did not realize what had happened. When they came to understand what had happened, the Falun Dafa practitioner had already disappeared.
Those policemen did not want to give up. They held on to their electric batons, waiting for the practitioner by his shed. My aunt calmly went to the practitioner's shed to help put the shed in order, completely ignoring those evil people. A few hours later, the practitioner thought the police might have gone and wanted to return to his shed to work. Villagers gestured to him, indicating that it was not yet safe to return. One fellow villager hurriedly dragged the practitioner to his own shed to hide him. Later, with some difficulties a few fellow villagers finally were able to help this practitioner safely get away.
