Falun Gong practitioners from India held the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance International Art Exhibition at the De Paul International Residential School (DPIRS) in the town of Mysore, near Bangalore in the Karnataka state, on August 20th and 21st, 2011.

As there was a state-level sports event concurrently ongoing at the school, many students from all across the Karnataka state had the opportunity to view the exhibit.

Students were touched by the beauty of the paintings and were upset that Falun Gong practitioners are being severely persecuted by the communist regime in China. A lot of students asked why the Chinese Communist Party is persecuting such a good practice.

Practitioners hosting the exhibit gave Falun Gong informational flyers and bookmarks to the students. Serene Falun Gong music pieces "Pudu" and "Jishi" played throughout the exhibition, and several very young students said that they really liked the music and asked how they could get it.

During a cultural event held at the school on the evening of August 20, practitioners also introduced Falun Gong and clarified the truth about the ongoing persecution in mainland China to a gathering of around 1,000 students.
