Believe in Master and the Fa 100%

Hello to Merciful and Great Master! Hello to all fellow practitioners!

I would like to report to Master some of my experiences and understandings from helping with the Shen Yun show ticketing. Please fellow practitioners correct me if there is anything wrong.

Studying the Fa well and sending forth righteous thoughts are the foundation of promoting Shen Yun
First I would like to cite a piece of Master’s Fa Teaching: ‘‘As for you, disciples of Dafa, the closer it gets to the end the better you should walk your paths, seizing the day to cultivate yourselves well. After doing a whole slew of things, you might find, if you look back upon them, that all of it was done with a human mindset. When it is a human being doing human things, and things are not being done with righteous thoughts, there won’t be any Dafa-disciple mighty virtue in those things. In other words, as gods see it, that’s just fooling around—not mighty virtue, or cultivation—even though you did do it. Then wouldn’t you say it was done in vain? You must study the Fa well, for that is the fundamental guarantee that you return to your position. (Disciples applaud) This isn’t just something that I casually thought up: what Master is imparting to you is the Fa of the cosmos. What I just said was to tell you that you absolutely must not slack off in your cultivation, you absolutely must not slack off in your Fa-study, and that you definitely must do it with all due sincerity. If previously you didn’t study well, you definitely should, once you leave here today and having heard Master address this again, really earnestly study and cultivate, and not let your mind wander. (Disciples applaud)’’ (Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa - Fa Teaching Given at the 2011 Washington DC Metro Area Fa Conference)

Mater has told us, again and again, to study the Fa well. If I could not keep pace with cultivation, my rightious thoughts would not be strong. If I failed to cultivate well myself, I would become an ordinary human being doing human things. To put it seriously, I could be just fooling around. I must cultivate myself well and solidly so as to work well for Shen Yun ticketing, not just as a form but to fulfill my vows. I rearranged my time. I tried my best to send righteous thoughts at the correct times every day and kept memorizing Master’s Fa teachings. Through sending more righteous thoughts and memorizing Fa teachings, I found that I could consider issues more and more according to the Fa principles.

Believe in Master and Fa 100%
At the suggestion of selling Shen Yun tickets in Zurich, which is a major world financial centre, I said that it would be difficult. However, afterwards I felt that what I said was wrong. This kind of thinking showed that I did not believe in Master and the Fa. Master tells us in the Fa teaching Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa, 2011: “In Western society it’s a basic tenet that “you get what you pay for.” Yet here we have such a high-caliber show, and you insist on selling it like some street vendor laying out his wares on the ground. That is not what Master wants, and that is why I have told you how to target the cultural mainstream. Actually, when Master wants something done a certain way, it’s not simply that he thought of something and then that’s it. I have to do a tremendous amount of preparation, which you cannot see, and all of those gods work on it too. Everything has been prepared, and all that’s missing is for you to carry it out. Yet you won’t take that step, thinking, “How can I work on the cultural mainstream? I don’t know what to do!” When you visit nicer communities, you’re too scared to say anything, hesitantly holding out that pamphlet with great trepidation. Do you think that could save people? Immediately that person is going to think you’re not trustworthy, right? You really don’t need to think too much about it— rather, go about it with confidence and dignity. You’re a Dafa disciple. Don’t you realize that you are saving people? Is Shen Yun’s ticket really not worth that amount? It is!”

As Master has arranged everything well, it should definitely succeed. If it failed the causes must be from us. When I felt there was difficulty, actually it has shown that my righteous thoughts were not strong enough. If I could have really believed in Master and the Fa, how could I feel difficulties?

Master tells us in ‘‘Lecture at the First Conference in North America” in 1998: “Since such an immense Fa is being taught in human society, think about how remarkably easy it is to assimilate one person. Let me draw a most simple analogy: If a piece of sawdust drops into a furnace of molten steel, it will vanish in a twinkling. It would be effortless for an immense Fa such as ours to assimilate a person like you, to eliminate your karma, to remove your improper thoughts, and so forth.”

The reason was that I had not jumped into the Fa. I was using a human mind to look at which piece of Fa Teaching met my human notion; I did not come to believe in Master and Fa 100%. I was using human notions to consider issues, that is, I was creating troubles to myself. For example, I had often thought: how would my husband think about this? What would my mother-in-low think about it? How will my child be taken care of? These were all problems of my xinxing and caused by my incorrect state.

Master says in “Dafa Disciples Must Study” in 2011: “As soon as your thinking aligns with a particular type of being, it will be able to instantly exert an effect on you. Yet you won’t be aware of where your thoughts are originating from, and will still think that it is your own will. But in fact, it was precisely your attachments that resulted in those things having an effect on you, and that led to their strengthening your attachments.” I realized was creating troubles for myself. I have cultivated so long, I felt it was ashamed that I was still in this state. I have made Master take pains for me; this really should not happen.

Master has everything well arranged
It is really true that Master has everything well arranged. Those practitioners with strong righteous thoughts can promote Shen Yun ticketing well even if they cannot speak the local language. I had thought before with a human mind that I had a language barrier. But when fellow practitioners exchanged their experiences, I saw that a fellow practitioner with no local language skills but with strong righteous thoughts had been able to influence an ordinary person positively and that person changed his attitude quickly and then asked the practitioner for Shen Yun flyers. It is true that Master has everything well arranged, it depends on our cultivation state only.

Once I went with a fellow practitioner to a bank to promote Shen Yun. We were taking the lift up and down several times to different floors to look for our contact. Then a woman came into the lift. We asked which floor she wanted and it was the same as ours. She asked us what we were doing here and we told her. She then asked us to go with her. She was exactly the person we were looking for ! She was busy but still listened to us and showed interest. Looking back, it seemed we wasted a lot of time when we were in the lift going up and down, but actually Master had arranged her to meet us in the lift because we may not otherwise have got to talk to someone so senior.

The might of the Fa : changing within 30 seconds
Another time, I went with fellow practitioner B to a company and we told the receptionist we wanted to talk to someone about Shen yun. She then rang the person who was responsible but that person was not in the office. She gave us the name and telephone number of that person and told us to make an appointment. Later we decided to try again at the reception. The receptionist saw us coming again so she rang again. But that person-in-charge was in a meeting and asked us to make an appointment. Then we displayed the 30-second Shen Yun introduction video to the receptionist. She seemed to changed into a different person after watching the video. She rang again right after and asked that person whether he had ten minutes to meet us. Though that person did not come down we saw the might of Fa. The change of the receptionist after 30 seconds showed the might of Fa, which can be done only by Master.

Master has encouraged us : Udumbara flowers blossom in Zurich
In order to have an accommodation for those practitioners coming from far away to help with Shen Yun ticketing, the practitioners in Zurich found a good place – a dugout. It became a home for us. Every morning we sent righteous thoughts and did the exercises. After breakfast, coordinators arranged tasks for the day. Then we went out in different groups to promote ticket sales. A few practitioners stayed in the dugout, studied Fa and sent a great amount of righteous thoughts. In the evening we shared our experiences and understanding of the day on the basis of Fa principles.

After dinner we together read Fa Teachings, did exercises and sent righteous thoughts. Master encouraged us: Udumbara flowers blossomed on the mesh wire and trees’ branches above the dugout. All practitioners found one flower each for themselves. Dozens of Udumbara flowers blossomed. We were all excited and some of us even welled up. Some said that they had not expected to see Udumbara flowers in person. How merciful Master is! Later we changed to another dugout for logistical reasons. But soon Udumbara flowers blossomed again on a wooden door of the dugout. Master encouraged us again and at the same time reminded us, every time when we went through the door, we must think about whether our behavior has met the requirements of the Fa.

Hurry to tell the truth, don’t miss the opportunities Master has given us
Master tells us in Lecture Three of Zhuan Falun: “This is because amidst everyday people, different ordinary human attachments could interfere with her. When she cured a patient’s illness, the patient might not appreciate it. When she treated the patient, she might have removed a lot of bad things from this patient’s body. Although she healed this patient to such an extent, there might not have been any obvious changes at that time. The patient, however, would not be happy in his mind. Instead of expressing gratitude, he might accuse her of cheating. With these problems, she was undergoing psychological tribulations in this environment. The purpose of giving her energy was to enable her to practice cultivation and upgrade herself. While doing good deeds, she could develop her own supernormal abilities and build up her own gong; however, some people did not know this principle.”

Now Master gives us one more opportunity, allowing us to undergo tribulations and to upgrade xinxing through promoting Shen Yun. Master says in “Dafa Disciples Must Study the Fa” in 2011: “You can’t let it become that when you return to your rightful place, you are like a commander-in-chief without an army, with it completely empty there, just one lone figure occupying that massive cosmic body. Buddhas aren’t supposed to be impoverished; they should be wealthy. The lives there are your riches, and only with them will your paradise be able to thrive. They all count as riches—every life counts as riches.”

I know that the time is running out. Every time I went to Zurich to promote Shen Yun, I felt glad in my heart. It is an unmatchable honour for me. I am thankful to Master for giving me this opportunity to cultivate. We should not become a commander-in-chief without an army. I cannot express the beauty and joyfulness in my heart with words.

Master tells in Teaching the Fa at the Fa Conference in Australia in1999: “In fact, I treasure you more than you treasure yourselves, for you exist together with Master. You are the most magnificent gods of the future, the exemplary models of the new cosmos, and mankind’s hope for the future.”

How merciful Master is! We should not miss the opportunities that Master has given us. What we should do is to cultivate ourselves well, cooperate well, and hand in a good examination result to Master.
