On July 9, Falun Gong practitioners from Bavaria, Germany, went to the historical town of Bamberg to hold a Falun Gong Information Day. They set up a booth next to the famous statue, Gabelmann-Brunnen, and raised awareness about Falun Gong to the public.
Bamberg is a thousand-year-old town and many historical sites remain. The locals call it “Little Venus.” In 1993, Bamberg was placed on the list of World Cultural Heritage sites. It attracts many tourists every day.
Practitioners passed out leaflets and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises. Many tourists spoke with the practitioners and signed a petition to support the end of the persecution in China.
