As it is the peak tourist season in the Crimean Peninsula, Ukraine, Falun Gong practitioners from major cities across Ukraine held a series of activities to spread Falun Dafa. Wherever practitioners went, they left good impressions and brought blessings to people there, and also became a hot topic on local network media reports.
Practitioners visited Alushta, one of the beach cities on July 27, 2012. Life Net published a Falun Emblem, and stated in its report, “Falun Dafa has a special effect on one's physical health, and has opened the spiritual lives of millions of people around the world. This cultivation practice includes five sets of beautiful exercise movements, and requires practitioners to improve their spiritual and moral standards through following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. As of today, Falun Dafa has been spread to more than 100 countries.”
“But China (the Chinese Communist Party) has persecuted Falun Gong for 13 years, and the reason for this popular practice to be illegally suppressed is that the number of people who practise Falun Gong exceeded the number in the Chinese Communist Party. Since 1999, Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally arrested and held in prisons and forced labour camps. Many people are missing, and some had their organs harvested.”
In Sevastopol, another beach city, a website report said, “On July 29, from 11:00 a.m. To 4:00 p.m., in Children's Park in Sevastopol, Falun Dafa practitioners from major cities across Ukraine held beautiful activities. They dressed in traditional Chinese costumes, danced and presented a Chinese waist drum performance.”
“Besides that, Dafa practitioners also demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises accompanied by beautiful music. People can learn to practice free of charge. The movements are not complicated and are suitable for people of different age groups.”
At the end of this report, the reporter especially enclosed the introduction to Falun Dafa, telling people that Mr. Li Hongzhi introduced Falun Dafa for the first time to the public in 1992. The practice doesn't use any breathing methods, nor does it require a specific time and location.
