Please can the Foreign Minister answer the questions below raised by the Law Committee:
Question 262:
According to reports by TV2 on 12th June 2002, several Danish travellers were refused to enter Iceland. According to our sources, the reason was that the travellers names were on a black list composed by the Iceland government and sent to Iceland Embassy. The Embassy arranged the rejection at the immigration control. Due to the background mentioned above, the Committee would like to request a summary report of the whole incident, including the detail information that can be obtained from the police and airport security.
Question 263:
The Committee would also like to request the Minister to obtain a statement from the Iceland government and the Iceland Embassy, in which stated detail explanations to why the Danish government had not been informed prior to the incident, as well as if the Iceland government believes their actions were appropriate.
Question 264:
According to confirmed sources, the Chinese Embassy can well be the planner of the whole incident. Therefore we request to know that if the Danish Government will contact the Chinese Embassy and demand explanations.
Question 265:
If after investigation the Chinese Embassy proved responsible for the incident, the Committee would like to know what actions the government will take.
