A High School Student’s Appeal: For The Future of Us All

Hi all,

I am a student just graduated from junior high school. The purpose of writing this letter is to tell you that Falun Dafa is good! For our own future, please stop being indifferent to the persecution of Falun Dafa.

Actually, many people know that Falun Gong cultivates truthfulness, benevolence, and forbearance, and the people who cultivate Falun Gong are good people. Falun Dafa can make people become good and virtuous. Many people around me cultivating Falun Gong, had suffered from incurable and unknown diseases before. After cultivating Falun Gong, they miraculously recovered. Some of them are workmen, some are farmers, doctors, teachers, some are the officials of the nation, intellectuals, and still some are illiterate old women, and elementary school students. They are people of great virtue. They are moderate, sincere, generous, open-minded, and magnanimous. Being with them, you will feel an atmosphere of purity and peace.

However, the authority persecutes Falun Gong unreasonably, so that these good people around me are disappearing gradually from around me. To let people know the truth that Falun Gong is persecuted, some of them go to Beijing to appeal, to clarify the truth, and to hang the banners. They are thus caught, imprisoned, sentenced, sent to the labour camps, fired from their jobs, and wandering around. The world around me seems in darkness again.

Because of the persecution of Falun Gong, people disbelieve the government more and more. They become more and more insensitive. The order of the society becomes worse and worse. The degeneration and corruption become more and more serious. Recently, some incidents continuously happened here shocked me greatly, so I can’t help asking: Sleeping people, be awakened! Don’t be indifferent anymore.

In April this year, one boy of the first grade in the third junior high school in our city went home after school at noon. He was robbed and slashed to the ground in the busy street. He crawled with difficulty on the ground for two hours until his neighbour saw him. The neighbour called his family to send him to hospital for emergency treatment, but it was too late. The young life was gone. It is only 400 meters from the scene of the accident to his home. The accident happened on a busy street at the time of the rush hour. None of many passers-by and storeowners gave a hand to him. Just making a call to the police or an ambulance could have saved the student’s life. But the passers-by were so indifferent that they were unwilling to save a life by just making a call. Isn’t this kind of society awful?

Another incident is that one female employee of Hongwei Hospital passed out on the overpass all of a sudden because of a weak physical condition. Time passed. Many people stopped there, watching, but none of them helped her. After coming to, she stood up slowly, trying to walk ahead, but fell to the ground again. Still, nobody helped. She was saved because an employee in the same department passed by there after finishing work. Are those the same people who cried out for “spiritual civilization”? When the people, who leave others to die, are dying, who can save them?

There was still another young woman, whose purse was robbed when passing by the bus station in the daytime. She cried for help while struggling to hold onto her purse. No one paid attention to it. Then, after the robber took out a knife, she could only let go, since no one helped her.

All these shocking incidents appal me, terrify me, and make me miss the pure land of Falun Dafa. If people all cultivate truthfulness, benevolence, and forbearance, will the society be so horrible? If people all like Falun Gong practitioners cultivate their mind, value virtues, and be kind with others, will the public order be so chaotic? If people were all like Dafa practitioners who always consider others in the first place, would human hearts become so insensitive as to leave a person to die without giving help?

I have seen some materials about the truth of Falun Gong. The police have beaten at least 400 Falun Gong practitioners to death. The means that the police use are extremely cruel, crueller than the fascists. They are almost appalling. I don’t believe that they are really human beings. My disastrous and unfortunate fatherland and my country fellowmen, for your young children, and for the future of all of us, be awakened! Don’t be indifferent any longer, and don’t be silent anymore. Don’t be “worldly wise” for your own private profits! If out of the desire to protect themselves, people don’t support and protect the good, don’t restrict and stop the evil, what awaits for them might be the same tragedy of that junior high school student! Thinking of our own future, and giving a hand to Falun Dafa and Dafa disciples are helping ourselves!
