China – The Real Situation of Falun Gong

Editor – Although the persecution against Falun Gong has been on-going for more than 3 years, and some of the reports about the cruel methods being used against Dafa practitioner are extremely base and vicious, the situation in many parts of China is very positive.

Even people who had previously assisted in persecuting Dafa practitioners, either knowingly or unknowingly, have realised the truth of the situation. Many have written solemn declarations on Dafa website to show their support for Dafa and condemnation of the persecution.

It is becoming clearer that the persecution of Falun Gong is now only localised to certain areas around the country. The following reports are a few examples of the true situation in Mainland China.

Dafa Practitioners Successfully Hold a Fa Conference
Zhejiang Province

Dafa practitioners held a Fa Conference in Zhejian Province. Practitioners did Fa Zheng Nian [rough translation - sending forth righteous thoughts] together and studied Teacher Li’s latest articles.
Practitioners who were responsible for Dafa materials in each district discussed how to deliver Teacher Li's new articles and truth-clarifying materials, so Dafa practitioners would receive them sooner. The discussion also centred on the topic of how to tell people the facts [of the persecution] in a better way. Dafa practitioners from different districts briefed each other on every district's circumstances and shared experiences of clarifying the truth [of the situation in China]. This conference completed successfully.

Young Falun Dafa Practitioners' Solemn Declarations

In 2000, under the evil's persecution and pressure from my school, I signed my name, which I should not have done. When I finished writing, I extremely regretted having done so. I declare to Teacher Li: what I wrote before, which was contrary to my convictions, is now invalid. I will cherish the chance to cultivate, and I will do well the three things that our Teacher asks of us.

I am a student. Under the pressure from the evil forces, I signed my name on a banner that slandered Falun Dafa. Contrary to my convictions I did what a Falun Dafa practitioner should not do. I felt intense regret. I hereby pronounce that my signature on the banner is invalid. Falun Dafa is righteous. Falun Dafa is Good. In the depths of their hearts, most people know this to be true.

I am now 10-years-old. On June 3, 2002, the evil police took my mother and me to a brainwashing centre. The police forcibly separated the two of us. A few days later, they forced me to write the "guarantee letter." Now I declare that what I had written and said are completely invalid.
