The Illegal Courts in China

The Law court of Yuhe District, Cangzhou City, passed secret sentences without any legal procedures, on 19th August 2002, against 10 innocent Falun Dafa practitioners. The longest sentence was 12 years; the shortest 7 years. Hanpo Guo, 12 years; Bin Wang, 11 years; Quanli Yang, 11 years; Ruihui Chen, 11 years; Daxing Gao, 9 years; Xiyi Wang, 9 years; Zhonghe Zhu, 8 years; Guodong Zhang, 8 years; Yuqin Du, 8 years; Zhifa Li, 7 years.

The Law court of Chaoyang District, Changchun City, illegally sentenced Falun Dafa practitioners without informing their relatives at all. On 20th August, 3 days prior to the hearings, the court was sealed off from the general public. None of the defendants’ family members were informed. We still do not know the exact sentences, but we can see how scared the evil people have become. We have also heard that the court of Luyuan District is also planning to illegally sentence the Dafa practitioners.

Afraid of the righteous Dafa practitioners, the law court of Yitong Town, Jilin Province, secretly sentenced Dafa practitioners. Dafa practitioner Taimin Wang copied and distributed truth materials to the local citizens, to awaken them from evil lies, so was hated by the local authorities. The evil people kidnapped Wang in September 2001, and have since been brutally persecuting him both physically and psychologically. Under such circumstances Wang has never yielded. Two months earlier at a law court hearing Wang was especially upright, and the evil people did not dare to inform family members, nor to allow any defendant solicitors at all. Wang’s statement in response to the secret trial: “ I have done nothing wrong by simply being a good person. I have done nothing wrong in copying Dafa materials. I have done nothing wrong in revealing the truth to people. Falun Dafa is good!” His righteous attitude made the evil people so afraid that the court immediately announced a recess. Afterwards it secretly sentenced Wang to 4 years imprisonment. Wang was then transferred to a secret prison and has been subject to severe persecution ever since.
