Dear Prime Minister Jean Chretien,
My name is Robert Boni. I am 6 years old and starting grade 1 at [...] School in September. I live in [...], Ontario, Canada. [Detailed information is omitted to avoid Chinese consulate's harassment.]
I am writing to you because you are the leader of Canada. I want to ask you to please do something to stop the killings in China. Falun Gong people are peaceful and they don't hurt anyone. Falun Gong people are good people. They believe in qualities like Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, just like you and my family do.
The Chinese government is putting Falun Gong people in jail. They are responsible for hurting and killing Falun Gong people. This is not fair and it is not right. They need your help, Prime Minister.
When you meet with the President of China, please tell him to stop the persecution of the Falun Gong. There are Canadian people who have family in Chinese prisons. They were arrested just because of their beliefs. If you believe in a better world for everyone, Prime Minister, you have to speak for ALL Canadians.
I am just a little boy. All I can do is pray for these people and for their families. You can do more because you are the most powerful man in Canada.
I know that you will do the right thing.
Sincerely,
Robert Anthony Boni
