Germany: Clarifying The Facts During Shanghai Week in Hamburg

Several days ago, the delegation of the court prosecutors from Shanghai and of the police officers in Hamburg performed together in St. Michelle during the Week of Shanghai. Another practitioner and I handed out the materials at the gate of the church. Most people who went there were the Germans who were interested in China, or who often went to China through their work. Many of them are noted people in religious and academic circles.

This time, we did not simply say, “A leaflet for you,”as before. We said with sincere concern for them, “Please allow me to introduce you to China,”or “Do you want to have a complete picture of China?”and so on. A calm-looking lady took the leaflet. After looking at the leaflet, she cried out, “Falun Gong!”I smiled at her and said, “Right. It’s Falun Gong.” She continuously said thanks and went away. Another couple about 50 years old came to me. The lady took the leaflet, reading some lines, and said, “I have heard of what happens to Falun Gong. I really feel sorry for it.”Many people came to us to ask for the information. We all felt that it is a good time to clarify the truth. It is a pity that we only brought a few leaflets, which were all given out before the performance started.
