The artist has used the traditional approach for picture composition. She broke the perception of time by grouping activities that happened at different points in time on the same painting. Each section is separated by a partition so that each has an independent identity. The circumstances depicted in the painting are complicated with numerous characters but the arrangement of primary and secondary factors are organized. The degree of complexity and simplicity are well-balanced and pieced together smoothly and easily. The characters that are portrayed repeatedly in each section in the painting can be identified one by one. This illustrates that the artist’s skills in lifelike portraiture has reached a high level. In this painting the strokes are meticulous, lines are fine and smooth yet skilful and powerful. The colours applied are beautiful and concentrated yet composed. In the whole painting, the portrayal of the plot, the form and image of the characters, depiction of the clothes and ornaments, selection of props, usage of lines and colours are all naturally integrated into the harmonious effect of the entirety.
