Righteous Journalist Stands Up to Chinese Embassy’s Threats

Maariv, one of the largest newspapers in Israel, interviewed Australian Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Dai Zhizhen and her daughter Fadu during the First Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in Israel. A two-page article was later published. This article explained the benefits that Ms. Dai's family received from practising Falun Dafa and the death of her husband and father-in-law due to the intense persecution of Jiang Zemin’s regime. The article contains a positive introduction about Falun Dafa.

When the journalist spoke with the Chinese embassy in Israel, the embassy’s spokesperson threatened him saying: "Do not publish this story, otherwise you will have serious problems." This righteous journalist, whose job and honour it is to protect freedom of speech, not only published the article but also described in detail the threat received from the Chinese embassy.
