Since the onset of the persecution, I was confused by the fabricated TV news that attacked Falun Gong. I simply gave up talking about it. My husband has been terribly busy over these past three years, arresting practitioners, interrogating them and confiscating Dafa books. Even though he was exhausted, his superiors still often chastised him for not doing a good enough job.
Over the past three years, my husband, through interacting with Dafa practitioners, has been moved by practitioners' honesty, perseverance and kindness. Although he had beaten and cursed them, they did not hate him for it. My husband started to read a confiscated copy of Zhuan Falun. He said he admires Dafa practitioners, but the one he admires the most is the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi. It is Mr. Li who taught so many good people.
My husband said he no longer wants to be in charge of the " 610 Office," saying if he has to be, he is thinking how he can reduce the persecution of Dafa and Dafa practitioners as much as possible.
Today when I was having a bath in a public bathing facility, a lady asked if anyone had lost something. I did not pay any attention at beginning, but she questioned several times; then I found that I had lost my gold ring. The lady returned the ring to me. I wanted to thank her by giving her some present, but she politely refused. She said she is a Falun Gong practitioner. The people at the scene all said that we had met a good person. Nowadays, almost anyone would steal such a ring if they had the chance. She found the lost item and returned it to me. I admire Dafa practitioners from the bottom of my heart.
That evening, I told my husband and daughter of this experience. My husband said that people who practise Falun Gong, every single one of them, are of noble morals. They are not ordinary people. My daughter said, "The propaganda on TV is all fake, all fabricated stories to slander Falun Gong. Society is all messed up! Falun Gong is not to blame; it is the Public Security Bureau that is to blame. My Dad is to blame."
When he heard my daughter's words my husband smiled wryly and said, "My daughter, dad regrets this now, but who can dad blame?"
