For telling her relatives in Japan about her sister's so-called "hospitalisation" in October, police arrested Luo Zhen, Japanese practitioner Yoko Kaneko's elder sister, in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. Her whereabouts are unknown.
As soon as we heard the news, practitioners in Japan gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy, November 16 from 1pm to 11pm, to appeal for her release. Practitioners unfurled banners that read "Free Yoko's Illegally Detained Sister Luo Zhen at Once", "Falun Dafa Is Good" and "SOS from JAPAN to the WORLD Help to get My Yoko out of China Alive." Practitioners distributed truth clarification information to pedestrians and drivers and collected signatures to rescue Yoko and her sister. Several children asked for signature sheets to collect signatures for practitioners.
Note: Yoko Kaneko (Chinese name Luo Rong) was arrested and beaten for distributing Falun Gong information on the streets of Beijing on May 24, 2002. She was sentenced to one and half years in forced labour camp. She is currently being held in Women's labour Camp, Daxing County, Beijing
