At 9:00 AM on October 30, 2002, the police abducted me, confining me to a mental hospital. (Despite being completely sane and healthy) My elderly mother was in bad health and had become senile. The police took advantage of my mother's situation in order to threaten my family members and force them to cooperate. In June 2001, I suffered a similar fate, all because I practise Falun Gong. This was the second time that I was sent to a mental hospital, and once again they attempted to brainwash me. The police's excuse was that they feared Falun Gong practitioners would go to Beijing to appeal during the period of the Sixteenth Party Congress. They even made the ridiculous claim that, "The reason we send you there is so that you can be taken care of for a few days. We are actually trying to protect you."
I sincerely hope that all people with a sense of justice will help stop the persecution of the innocent people like myself who believe in Falun Gong's principles of Truth-Compassion-Tolerance.
