Belated Report: Practitioner Tortured to Death in the Daqing Labour Camp

Niu Huaiyi, male, an employee of the 6th Plant of the Daqing City Oil Extraction Factory, was detained in the Daqing Labour Camp starting in August of 2000 without any due process of law. He suffered immensely while in detention from torture and forced labour. Niu was forbidden from practising the Falun Gong exercises or studying the teachings of Falun Dafa, and his health deteriorated quickly. By April 2001, he was dying. Fearful of taking on responsibility for his death, the Daqing Labour Camp sent him home. Niu Huaiyi passed away within a month of returning home.
