Lithuania: Falun Gong Practitioners Spread and Appeal for Dafa in the 5th International Science Conference of Spiritual Healing

On November 30th and December 1st 2002, the 5th International Science Conference of Spiritual Healing was held in Latvia’s capital, Vilnius. Representatives from ex-Soviet Union countries as well as the three countries of the Baltic Sea took part in the conference. In order to spread Dafa to people of Lithuania, as well as the visitors to this international conference, Latvian practitioners attended this conference.

The organiser of this conference—the Parapsychology Club’s chairperson had known Falun Dafa in Latvia’s capital, Riga, and therefore enthusiastically invited Dafa practitioners to attend this international conference.

When we demonstrated the 5 sets of exercises on the stage, the audience was moved by the practitioners’ calm and compassionate field. Everyone who was there testified that there was indeed a strong energy field at that time. Later, some of the visitors asked for some information from us, and discussed with us the possibility of holding Falun Gong introduction meetings in other areas.

When it was our turn to make a speech, the audience asked some questions about the illegal suppression Falun Gong has encountered in China. The person in charge of the microphone specifically asked us to talk about the reasons in detail. A fellow practitioner used a series of actual examples to expose the entirely groundless accusations by Jiang’s scoundrel group in his speech, and everyone was interested in the truth claifying VCD that we introduced and gave away for free. In order to implicate and incriminate Falun Gong, Jiang’s scoundrel group made up and produced the self-immolation incident. The truth behind the self-immolation made more and more people see clearly the hideous face of “national terrorism”.

We also held “ The Journey of Falun Dafa” photo exhibition in the conference, and showed people Dafa has been spread far and wide; hundred of thousands people have been delighted to obtain Dafa, and have walked on the path of returning to their original, true self.

The president of the International Spiritual Healing Academy (Latvian) was very interested in the data, before the evil suppression, that we provided about people who practise Falun Gong and benefit in both body and mind. He said this information is very important when he introduces Falun Gong to other organisations which have not understood us yet. He also introduced some cases where the Chinese Embassy in Latvia have spread rumours about Falun Gong in order to evade international condemnation.

After the conference, the organiser and representatives who participated in the conference said farewell, and expressed a wish to keep in further contact with us.

On the second day in Vilnius, we walked on the streets to spread and clarify the truth. We were warmly welcomed and supported by many local people.
