France: Paris Public Welfare Event Invites Falun Dafa Practitioners to Demonstrate Exercises

On December 7 2002, French practitioners were invited to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises at the Telethon Public Welfare event in Montreuil City, a suburb of Paris. This is an annual charity event for children with genetic diseases. The practitioners demonstrated the beautiful exercises on a stage and other practitioners distributed leaflets among the audience. The leaflets told the audience about the brutal persecution of practitioners in China who are being tortured and killed because they want practise the exercises that the audience could see on the stage in front of them. One practitioner explained the nature of the exercises as they weere practised. The organisers from city government strongly supported the activity and many people were deeply touched after learnig about the persecution.
