December 4, 2002 was Sports Day at Taiwan National Chiao Tung University. The Falun Dafa Club registered a booth to promote Falun Gong and clarify the truth of the persecution in China to the professors and students. While walking around the field, many people saw our booth. Our booth was close to the gate and quite prominent, so people walking in and out easily saw us.

During the day, I introduced Falun Dafa to a schoolmate in detail. He said that he also agreed with the principles of Dafa. I realised that we should display the beauty of Dafa, and people would easily accept "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." Some people came to ask questions and pick up materials, they seemed to be have been looking for Dafa.

Later, I took some truth-clarification materials and went to the department building to promote Dafa to the professors. At first, I had a lot of attachments [One of Falun Gong's principles is that one should strive to remove all attachments to achieve a peaceful state and achieve true Truthfulness - Compassion - Forbearance]. When a practitioner suggested this, I was reluctant to go, but I decided to go anyway. When I arrived at the door to the professors' offices, more interference came into my mind. Part of me wanted the professors to be in the office, while another part didn't. I tried to purify my mind for some time and then gathered up my courage to clarify the truth of the persecution to them. After I started to do it with all my heart, I found that it wasn't difficult at all. It was my attachments that hindered me. The persecution of Falun Gong has been going on for over three years. It is a result of Jiang Zemin trying to suppress Falun Gong because so many people in China started to practice Falun Gong, even more than people in the communist regime. Consequently out of misplaced fear of Falun Gong, Jiang Zemin ordered the arresting, torturing and even killing of innocent practitioners who refuse to give up there faith in truthfulness, compassion, forbearance. To date there are 529 known deaths. After introducing Falun Gong and clarifying the truth one of the professors exchanged his thoughts with me sincerely and gave me many suggestions. After this talk with him, I learnt that I had many places in my moral that needed improvement.
