At risk are the rights to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, expression, association and the right to peaceful assembly.
Hong Kong would be forced to ban any organization determined by China as a national security risk, which would seriously put at risk the freedom and democracy in Hong Kong, and thereby making a mockery of HK's autonomy and "one country, two systems" policy.
We are convinced that if the Hong Kong Government support and validate basic human rights and good moral principals, Hong Kong will prosper. Conversely if Hong Kong obeys the totalitarian regime in China without any consideration of human rights and the welfare of there citizens, the future will be quite dark.
The history has shown us that every dictatorship has not lasted long and has always been detested by the suppressed citizens and the rest of the world.
Be aware that what you choose will have a big impact in many people's lives, as well as your own lives. Be also sure that you will have support from all over the world if you stand up for human rights and freedom in Hong Kong.
We feel, that the time we live in is a turning point, that human beings have the possibility to change their bad behaviour and be enlightened to a greater wisdom within. We truly believe that the human society is moving towards a bright future, but what we choose to do with our lives and our responsibilities is creating our foundation for the future.
Be sure that the practitioners of Falun Dafa always will live by the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. We will always consider other people’s welfare and we will always try to be the best of citizens. But we can't deny what we believe in, the sacred truth of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance, the beautiful life that every human being has in their heart.
We will never be a threat to any government, nor do we seek fame, money, power or land. The only thing we wish is to have the possibility to cultivate Falun Dafa and thereby contribute to the society the beauty of Zhen, Shan, Ren.
