Free Asia Radio Station’s reporter Tian Yi stated:

“Since the international organisation for documenting the criminal activities of those persecuting Falun Gong practitioners was established in North America, it has launched a series of activities pertaining to investigating and gathering information in various places in Europe. With the advent of the traditional Chinese New Year festival at the end of January, this organisation also conveyed their sympathy to the relatives and friends of Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in China. As to the objectives and function of this organisation, a reporter with Radio Free Asia, Mr. Tian Yi, interviewed Ms. Zheng, who is from Zhejiang University in China, and is a scholar specialising in the research of international criminal law. Ms. Zheng is currently doing research in Germany.

Ms. Zheng stressed that the international community is paying more and more attention to the crimes and violations of basic human rights and freedom.

She also believes that the establishment of this organisation would escalate international protests and condemnation of the persecution of Falun Gong on both moral and legal grounds.

Ms. Zheng said that even today in Germany, the hunt still goes on to trace criminals who are believed to have committed atrocities against prisoners of war in World War II. In addition to criminal punishment, even their descendants are shamed at the crimes committed by the previous generation. Thus, she is convinced that those who are active in persecuting Falun Gong would also face trials on criminal charges. After all, this is a natural law and international axiom.
