Practitioners in Poland held events for three consecutive days, June 14-16, 2013, to introduce Falun Gong and raise awareness about the communist regime's persecution of the practice in China. The events, held in the cities of Poznan and Krakow, attracted a lot of attention from the public.
A total of 1,075 people signed a petition to oppose the Chinese regime's violent suppression of Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) and forced organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners.

The vast majority of people were shocked and angry upon learning of the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. They regarded signing the petition as their moral obligation as human beings.
After signing, many wished the practitioners well and reiterated their support. Some also asked where to learn the exercises, and a few wanted to get yellow T-shirts with the words “Falun Dafa is good,” like those worn by the practitioners on site; they said they had never seen such beautiful T-shirts. One person was so interested in learning the practice that a practitioner gave him his own copy of Zhuan Falun, the main text of Falun Gong.
An 81-year-old gentleman, Mr. Bartkowiak, said: “I went through years of war in Europe and also experienced both capitalist society and the communist regime. What I can tell you is that communism is the most evil thing in human history, and the communist regime is the most brutal regime in history. But upon hearing of the Chinese regime's live organ harvesting, I was still shocked. It is extremely evil—so evil that I cannot find words to describe it. I hope my [petition] signature can express my wish: Long live Falun Gong! I hope it benefits everyone. I hope Chinese people can escape from the evil soon and have a peaceful life soon. May God bless you!”
Mr. Hubert Krzysztoniak also did not hesitate to sign the petition. After carefully reading the informational display boards, he said: “When the 2008 Olympic Games were held in China, I received an invitation. But I did not go because I did not have a good feeling about the Chinese government. ... Today after reading the display boards, my feeling was proved to be right. A regime that can do such nasty things should not be eligible to host the Olympics! How did the IOC [International Olympic Committee] do the inspection?! Those Olympics hid such a big sin. A regime that has persecuted such a big group of people for over 10 years could even host the Olympics—something must be wrong with this world. What you are doing is right. Please keep doing this. I support you! Good luck!”
Mr. Artur Nirz was attracted to the words “Falun Gong” while passing by the petition desk. He took a serious look at the flyer and then read the informational displays. However, having been previously misled, he still said: “I won't sign [the petition]. I know about Falun Gong, and it is not like what you say.” A Falun Gong practitioner asked him, “Have you ever read Zhuan Falun?” He said he had not.
The practitioner then asked, “As you have not read the book, how did you come to know something about Falun Gong?” The man revealed that his friend from China had told him some things about the practice. “How come it is not the same as what you say?” he asked.
The practitioner explained to him what Falun Gong is and how the Chinese communist regime has viciously slandered the practice to deceive the public. The regime has not allowed Zhuan Falun to be published since 1996. After 1999, launching a brutal campaign to eradicate the practice, communist officials forcibly seized the books from the public and used all of the state-run media, even children's TV shows, to defame Falun Gong. Thus, Chinese citizens were cut off from the facts and could not learn what Falun Gong actually is.
“What your Chinese friend told you about Falun Gong was not the truth but the lies spread by the communist regime,” explained the practitioner. “If you want to understand the truth about Falun Gong, then please read Zhuan Falun.”
The practitioner went on to point out that during 14 years of brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, the practice has spread to more than 100 countries. “People who have listened to the regime's lies are also victims,” said the practitioner. “That is why we have come here today to introduce Falun Gong, hoping to benefit the good people of the world and prevent them from becoming the victims of the Chinese communist regime.”
Mr. Nirz listened carefully and said that he would go online to understand more. He took a flyer upon leaving, but quickly returned to the petition table after taking just two steps. “I want to sign the petition today,” he said. “I will regret it if I don't sign.” Practitioners felt truly happy for him.
Ms. Anna Wypchat, a deaf-mute woman, stopped to read the informational display boards and then took her husband to sign the petition. After signing, she pointed to the words “Falun Gong” and raised two thumbs up to the practitioners to emphasize her support.
Ms. Wypchat asked if she could learn the Falun Gong exercises on the spot. After only one movement, she excitedly gestured to her husband that she felt an energy current through her back. She then continued to learn each movement. After finishing the first set of exercises, she hugged Falun Gong practitioners to express her thanks and indicated that she wished to maintain contact with them.
Two Chinese girls saw Falun Gong display boards and came to read. A practitioner handed them informational flyers in Chinese and talked to them about the communist regime's vile crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Both of the girls listened carefully and unanimously expressed their wish to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated youth leagues. They left with heartfelt smiles on their faces.
