On June 19, 2001, four Falun Gong practitioners were kidnapped to the Fuyu County Detention Centre. They were Ma Yong, Wang Baoxian, Zhang Xiaochun, and Pan Benyu, all from Qiqihar City except Zhang Xiaochun who is from Suihua City. The Public Security office then declared that they were "arrested" on July 15, 2001. These four practitioners did not receive any trial up until June 2002; thus they endured one year of prolonged and illegal detention. In order to protest such illegal and arbitrary detention, Zhang Xiaochun went on a hunger strike on June 19, 2002. Soon after on June 29th, he was tortured to death when he was abhorrently force-fed by the Detention Centre head Cao Guolu and his cohorts. His body was later secretly cremated.
Yet, the death of Zhang Xiaochun did not awaken the consciences of Cao Guolu, Jia Weijun, and their cronies. They further applied more atrocious treatment against another Dafa practitioner -- Wang Baoxian. In the detention centre, poor Wang Baoxian was severely beaten until he lost consciousness. His head was badly wounded and his face was disfigured. There were large amounts of internal bleeding around his chest and other parts of his body. He could not control his defecation and urination. His urine and stool contained blood. According to a hospital worker, they could not revive Wang Baoxian due to massive internal injuries. On August 18, 2002, Wang Baoxian died at the hands of Jia Weijun, Cao Guolu, and their gang at the Fuyu County Hospital. Wang's body was later forcefully cremated by the Public Security authorities.
Kind hearted people, what crime did we commit by practising Falun Dafa, cultivating "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and being model citizens? How could they suffer such brutal persecution? Good and bad deeds both have their consequences!
