Mr. Fan Xuejun died as a result of persecution while imprisoned 10 years ago. His family suspected that he died from organ harvesting when they inspected his body. However, under huge pressure, they did not have the courage to expose their findings at the time.
Family Suspects Organ Harvesting
After Mr. Fan Xuejun died on September 12th, 2004 in the Huazi Prison in Liaoyang City, his family saw his body. It bore so many cuts that it appeared to have been dissected, and there was a gaping hole in the waist area.
Prison officials declared that Mr. Fan committed suicide and banned his family from visiting again. They also closely monitored imprisoned practitioners to prevent any information about Mr. Fan's death from getting out.
Fired and Sentenced
Mr. Fan resided in the Huanggu District of Shenyang. He worked at a hotel as a baker. After he began to practise Falun Gong in 1995, he became a better person and was trusted by his managers and colleagues.
Mr. Fan appealed for justice of Falun Gong shortly after the persecution began in 1999. For that, he was arrested, detained at the Shenyang City Fifth Detention Centre, and forced into brainwashing sessions in the Longshan Forced Labour Camp. To top it off, his workplace fired him.
Two years later he was arrested again and sentenced to seven years in Huazi Prison, where he died. In prison, Mr. Fan was tortured and forced to do the work of several people.
Fearful of retaliation, people who knew what happened to Mr. Fan did not come forward. Now, ten years later, the truth of Mr. Fan's death has been exposed. Sadly, witness accounts suggest that Mr. Fan's internal organs were removed without his consent.
