Switzerland: Sharing Important Information by Lake Lucerne

Lake Lucerne, located in central Switzerland near the Alps, is a favourite tourist destination known for its serenity and charm. Over the past weekend, local residents and tourists noticed Falun Dafa practitioners from nearby cities peacefully meditating by the lake.

At an outdoor concert venue, practitioners in yellow outfits doing the five gentle exercises attracted much attention. Many tourists took pictures or imitated the practitioners’ movements.

“This peaceful meditation practice has been unjustly and viciously persecuted since July 1999,” said Ms. Panm a practitioner volunteer at the event. With printed materials in both German and Chinese, practitioners told pedestrians about Falun Dafa and the persecution, calling for help to end the 15-year-long campaign of brutality.

Ms. Pan said that Chinese people, in particular, have been deceived by the hate propaganda put out by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). “I am very worried about them---agreeing with such a vicious regime to persecute innocent people puts their future in danger,” said Ms. Pan.

That is why she and other practitioners have been working hard to explain the facts of Falun Dafa to Chinese tourists over the past 10 years. After hearing the facts from Ms. Pan, more than 50,000 people have already quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
