An annual winter Falun Dafa cultivation experience sharing conference was held in Moscow, Russia on January 5, 2016. Attendees came from many areas, including St. Petersburg, Kaluga, and Ukraine. Practitioners also took the opportunity to raise awareness of the ongoing persecution in China.

The three-day event began on January 5, when practitioners read Master Li's “Fa Teaching at the 2015 West Coast Fa Conference.” They also went to various well-known scenic areas in Moscow to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Dafa in China and collected signatures calling to prosecute Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who directed the violent suppression campaign when he was in power.
The practitioners carried out signature drives at various attractions in Moscow, including Arbat Street, Gogol Park, Victory Park, and the Chinese Embassy. It was very cold, with temperatures as low as -22°C (-8°F) and light snow. Pedestrians walked by quickly. Nevertheless, many stopped to sign the petition and learn more about the persecution in China.

On the second and third days, the practitioners started by doing the Falun Dafa exercises as a group before reading Dafa books and sharing cultivation experiences.
A woman from Ukraine shared how she had a conflict with another practitioner in a media company. Upon returning to her home village, she handed out a flyer and talked about the persecution with another woman, who said, “I like to watch TV news. I believe the news on TV.” The practitioner reflected, “I asked myself whether I could let go of conflicts to save sentient beings. I said to myself I could. I must let go of anything to help people know about the persecution.” Thus, she resumed her work in the media project.
Another practitioner talked about her experience in coordination work. She faced tests and conflicts after she took on the role in 2009 and thought of giving up. Once, she heard a practitioner say that being a coordinator was her cultivation path arranged by Master Li. She realized that she must do her best in this role and get rid of her own notions and selfish thoughts.
The conference concluded on the evening of January 7.
