Three members of the French National Assembly and a former member signed a global coalition statement against the persecution of Falun Gong.
Alain Bouc, Doctor of Economics and member of the Human Rights League (China Group), spoke at the rally. “I represent the Human Rights League to support your protesting against the persecution,” Bouc said. “Because you believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, everyone agrees.
“But the CCP does not allow any different thoughts. Otherwise, the Party would use the media, judicial system, police, teachers and writers to show this.”
He said he reviewed human rights violations in China, and almost all of them were implemented in this way.
“Freedom must be respected, and the judiciary should be fair and independent,” he said. “Whether it is Falun Gong or other groups, they should have the freedom of belief. Lawyers who defend Falun Gong, such as Gao Zhisheng, should enjoy the freedom of judicial independence.
“Falun Gong practitioners embody a strength of unity within China. This is very important. It is very normal for them to express themselves in the name of freedom and to speak for freedom from the heart,” he added.
Harold King from Doctors Against the Forced Organ Harvesting (DAFOH) spoke at the rally. He said the CCP initially covered up the coronavirus outbreak in Wuhan and spread disinformation, leading to the global pandemic. “From the widespread of the coronavirus across the world, we can see how the CCP manipulates numbers,” he said, adding that the CCP covers up its killing of Falun Gong practitioners for organs using similar means to deceive Western democratic countries.

Fiorella Luna, is the National Manager of France at the International Coalition to End Transplant Abuse in China (ETAC), a non-governmental organization headquartered in Australia. Speaking at the rally, she said that from 2019 to 2020, the coalition collected more than 200 records and audio recordings of phone conversations with doctors in Chinese hospitals.
“The collected evidence has been sent to government officials in many countries,” she said. “We also request the UN Commission of Investigation to investigate China's forced organ harvesting.”
Luna said her organization launched a petition with the Freedom House Association last week.
“I hope that in Western countries, laws that restrict organ trafficking can be passed to stop this crime against humanity,” she said.
