Lin Xiong was the other practitioner on trial from Hainan province. During his trial, he said, "When the notary accused me of making use of a 'cult' to harm the implementation of the law, I didn't understand what he was referring to. Is teaching people to be good by following Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance, by valuing virtue, and by cultivating their minds evil? In addition, has the notary ever looked at the so-called evidence that was used to charge us, or the record of our testimony? If you have, please point out to me the evil content. What I photocopied were true sayings and signs, so I ask you, out of these sayings, 'Falun Dafa is a righteous practice,' and 'Life needs Truth, Compassion, Forbearance,' which sentence contains evil content, and which sentence is vicious?" In response to the practitioners' righteous statements, the judge could only say, "Laws like this are stipulated by our country, so it does not matter what the content is. As long as you are involved with Falun Gong, you are guilty."
There were a few dozen people sitting in the visitors' benches shaking their heads, and saying, "You can't reason things out these days." Many were moved by Dafa practitioners' righteous thoughts, and said, "Falun Gong practitioners are great!"
