Salzburg is a beautiful historic city on the border of Germany and Austria that is surrounded by mountains and rivers. It is actually the place where Mozart once lived, but most people recognise the beauty of Salzburg from the movie “The Sound of Music”. Jiang Zemin once visited Salzburg, where in Mozart’s former house, he had the audacity to sit down and play a piano which had not been touched since Mozart last played it. This made the Jiang’s entourage and the Austrian Government officials speechless.

April 5 was the date of a traditional Chinese festival. Dafa practitioners held an activity in Salzburg to commemorate their fellow practitioners who have been persecuted to death in China, and to expose the evil persecution that is happening there today. Although the weather was cold, there were many tourists in the city. People stopped to look at the demonstration of the five graceful exercises. Some asked why Jiang is persecuting Falun Gong and others asked where they could learn the Falun Gong exercises. People came in droves to take leaflets from the practitioners. Dafa was quickly spreading among tourists from all over the world.

Practitioners invited the residents of Salzburg to an art exhibition by Australian practitioner Zhang Cuiying’s art exhibition that is soon to be held in Austria. There were many tourists from Mainland China who saw us practising the exercises. Some Austrian practitioners said hello to them and said “Falun Dafa Hao” [“Falun Dafa is Good” in Chinese]. They also handed out materials, which people were very happy to accept. The activity ended with the practitioners sending forth righteous thoughts together.
