In June, a few practitioners that were kidnapped from Ningpu County were forced to go through "brainwashing." A couple of days later, under torture such as sleep deprivation, and due to endless rounds of lies by collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have stopped practising due to brainwashing and torture and now assist in the persecution] and threats from the team leader, among other things, some practitioners wrote a "guarantee letter" against their will. After that, they were separated and sent to classes, where everyone was forced to give up their beliefs. Every practitioner was followed by two people and prohibited from talking to anybody. They could only be seen at group activities such as morning exercises or military training. However, the collaborators closely monitored them so that we didn't have a chance to exchange thoughts with them.
Wang Xinmin was a very introverted and kind person. A person from the town government beat her brother Wang Xintian to death in 2000 because he practised Falun Gong. She knew she made a mistake after she was forced to write a "guarantee letter" and felt extremely sad. She got in trouble because she stopped a collaborator from slandering Dafa in the class.
One morning in November, the group leader Liu called Xinmin to the office and cursed her badly. After she came back to the class, the collaborators cursed at her as well. On the second day, Xinmin was called into to the office again. Under orders from middle group leader Zhang Xuemin, a couple of team leaders started to take turns beating her. They kicked such a harmless woman and slapped her until her face was swollen. After she went back to the class, the collaborators continued to attack her without mercy. Xinmin was under a lot of pressure, but she knew Dafa was good. She did not slander Dafa as the collaborators wanted her to. Two nights later, Xinmin was called in again. She came back at midnight with black and blue marks all over her whole body from an electric baton. On top of that, the collaborators took turns attacking her. Xinmin started to show abnormal behaviour, sometimes crying and sometimes smiling. Even under such conditions, the group leader and the collaborators still said she was pretending and continued to beat her and torture her. When Xinmin was in a deluded state, one of the collaborators named Wang Xinpu beat her badly, and slapped her several times with both hands.
Xinmin, who used to be such a healthy person, was tortured until she suffered a mental collapse. The inhumane Zhang Xuemin ordered that she be handcuffed to the heaters. Every night, Xinmin's crying and the noise from her hands sliding on the heaters pained people's hearts.
Seeing Xinmin's condition, the team leaders were afraid of being responsible so they went to the classes and claimed that Wang Xinmin used to have a mental disorder. The practitioner who was kidnapped together with Xinmin said, "She never had anything wrong with her before. She was very normal."
Later, Xinmin's family picked her up. She went there as a perfectly normal person and after a couple months was persecuted until she suffered a mental collapse.
There was a major restructuring in the Shijiazhuang Forced Labour Camp administration at the beginning of March 2003:
The Shijiazhuang Labour Camp: the big No. 3 group leader Chen (currently he has been reassigned and is big No. 1 group leader)
No. 304 middle group leader Zhang Xuemin (currently he has been reassigned and is deputy group leader of big group No. 1)
No. 304 middle vice group leader Xu (currently he has been reassigned and is group leader of middle group No. 501)
The other group leader of No. 304 Liu (very vicious, now retired)
Gao X (reassigned and is deputy group leader of No. 501 middle group)
Yang X (still in 304 middle group)
The collaborators that persecuted Wang Xinmin:
Wang Xinpu, from Xinji, Heibei province
Bai Lianzhi, from Fenfen mining, Heibei province
