Atrocities Committed at the Yinmahe Labour Camp

The guards and other staff members at the Yinmahe Labour Camp in Jiutai City, Jilin Province have committed many crimes against Dafa practitioners. The following is a partial account of what they have done to the Dafa practitioners detained there.

(1) Dafa practitioner Wu Tonglin

From January to March, while Mr. Wu was holding a hunger strike, the head of the labour camp, Wang, forcibly opened Mr. Wu's mouth to force-feed him. Mr. Wu refused to cooperate, and two of his teeth were knocked out. The police didn't release Mr. Wu until he had been on the hunger strike for over 90 days, and was near death.

(2) Dafa practitioner Zhang Jinguang

Prison doctor Liang forcibly and brutally force-fed Mr. Zhang. He abruptly inserted a tube into Mr. Zhang's stomach and then pulled it out, injuring his stomach and oesophagus. Mr. Zhang vomited a large amount of blood. When he was force-fed, Mr. Zhang was pulled and dragged, and sometimes was hung upside down. One time, when he was handcuffed to a bed, and shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!" the guards stuffed a dirty rag into his mouth. Even more brutal was when one of so-called doctors used a rag with phlegm on it to block the practitioners' mouths when they shouted, "Falun Dafa is good!"

(3) Dafa practitioner Jin Fengxue

Mr. Jin refused to cooperate with the police and refused to wear the prisoners' uniforms. He asked to write an appeal letter, and he started a hunger strike in protest. The guards handcuffed him to a bed, and an accomplice named Liang knocked out one of his teeth.

(4) Dafa practitioner Wu Dexiu

On around February 16th, the guards played a film that defamed Dafa. Since Mr. Wu unplugged their power cord, they put him under "tight control." This was during the period between winter and spring, and the cold wind was blowing. The police opened the window in the "tight control" room, causing two of Mr. Wu's toes to suffer from frostbite and become terribly deformed. He was not sent to the hospital for examination until he held a hunger strike for 40-50 days. Liang asked the hospital to amputate and asked Mr. Wu to leave the hospital on the second day. The hospital refused to accept cold-hearted Liang's unreasonable requests. Mr. Wu was taken back to the labour camp and has not been sent to the hospital again. Mr. Wu has been on a hunger strike for over 90 days now and is critically ill, but he is still force-fed everyday. When Liang is on duty, he force-feeds Mr. Wu with food containing a high concentration of salt.

This April, the labour camp organised a so-called forced brainwashing activity. During this activity, the police used electric batons to shock practitioner Zhou Kechun and gave him a severe beating. Mr. Zhou could not stand their torture and gave in, but later published a solemn statement to nullify it.

This February, practitioner Li Rongxian was found to have tuberculosis, which completely satisfied the condition to be bailed out for medical reasons, but the labour camp delayed releasing him again and again. Practitioner Jiang Guilin from Jilin Province had a heartbeat of 260 beats per minute, but the authorities still refused to release him, and still forced him to do hard labour. It was learned that recently six Dafa practitioners attempted to escape while performing labour, but they didn't succeed. After they were caught and sent back, their sentences were extended, and they received barbaric electric shock torture.
