On the morning of June 16, 2003, Dafa practitioners in New Zealand set off from the Chinese Consulate in Auckland to travel to 12 cities in four days. The twelve cities included Hamilton, Rotorua, Taupo, Napier, Hastings, Palmerston North, the capital city Wellington, Levin, Wanganui, Hawera and New Plymouth. The practitioners will hold press conferences or parades in these cities to raise awareness and gain support of more people for the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, and to call for the rescue of Charles Li and all other Dafa practitioners who are being persecuted in China.
Starting on June 11, practitioners held a parade in downtown Auckland and a three-day hunger strike appeal to clarify the truth and awaken people's conscience in front of the Chinese Consulate.
